PVD coating

How the PVD process works

The PVD process, short for Physical Vapor Deposition, is a method in which material is vaporized from a so-called target and then deposited on the surface of the stainless steel. The process takes place in a vacuum chamber.

The material is vaporized using heat, electricity and gases, causing molecules or atoms to dissolve and disperse in the chamber. These deposited molecules or atoms then settle on the surface of the object to be coated and form a thin layer.

This gives the component an elegant color without losing its gloss or mirror quality.

In this way, we combine aesthetic coloring with the coveted mirror look to create products of the highest quality and visual appeal.

PVD coating is the best method for coloring stainless steel. The color is much more durable compared to other processes.

We currently offer the PVD process for smaller objects. Just get in touch with us!
